Marianne has traveled to Thailand, Belize, and South Africa working with various animals at zoos and wildlife centers. She will be discussing Hibernation.

This is a rescue organization on the east coast whose mission is to keep turtles a part of the future and not a thing of the past. They accomplish this through education, conservation, rehabilitation, and incubation programs.

Our Zoom meeting this month will be a presentation by Simone Reyes, Vice-President for communications in Social Compassion legislation and animal rights activist. Simone will be discussing what she does and how she will assist with Red-Eared Slider legislation regarding: overpopulation, over breeding and illegal sales and transport of these non-native turtles.
