SDTTS is inviting you to a Zoom meeting this Friday.
There will be a presentation by
Chris Brown with the USGS, United States Geological Survey. The USGS provides reliable scientific information that helps understand the Earth: minimizes loss of life and property from natural disasters; manages water, biological, energy, and mineral resources; and enhances and protects our quality of life.
Chris will focus on a couple of their restoration efforts that will incorporate some of the biological challenges of recovering the species locally (small body size, relatively low egg production, etc.) as well as all the legal hurdles (permitting, landowners, conserved lands, etc.).
This should prove to be an interesting and informative presentation. There will be time for questions and answers at the end of the talk.
Please join us!
