Lori Scott grew up on the southern and central coasts of California.She attended Cal Poly State and received her degree in Animal Science. Relocating to S. Nevada Lori worked as a conservation educator, aquarist and scuba diver. In 2010, Lori started her journey with San Diego Zoo Global as a research associate at the Desert Tortoise Conservation Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. A highlight of the position was designing and implementing a course for local teachers to learn more about desert tortoise biology and conservation.
