Brett Baldwin, who is the Animal Care Manager of Herpetology and Ichthyology for the San Diego Zoo, will be speaking on his job at the Zoo and his travels including his recent trip to Madagascar helping with the 10,000 radiated torts that were confiscated. 

Biography
Brett Baldwin has had a life-long passion for nature, especially Herpetology. He spent his childhood hunting, fishing and looking for herps all over southwest Texas, keeping a collection of many species growing up. At home he has marginated tortoises, Oustelet’s chameleon and a large cactus and succulent collection. He has a BS in Biology, worked 9 years at The Abilene Zoo and the last 21 years at The San Diego Zoo and is currently Animal Care Manager of Herpetology and Ichthyology.
